Zoe’s Scavenger Hunt Fun: A Lake Vacation Interactive Chapter Book
5-Star Review from Reader’s Favorite
“Rinda Beach’s early chapter book, Zoe’s Scavenger Hunt Fun: A Lake Vacation Activity Book, takes the young reader on a journey to a summer cottage on Norris Lake. They follow young Zoe’s adventures as she improves her map-reading skills, becomes more observant of the natural life around her, tries different dives into the lake, and manages to swim deeper than her older siblings. A great interactive learning tool – summer fun can be learning fun as well!”
– Emily-Jane Hills Orford, Reviewer from Reader’s Favorite

I had the opportunity to see this story grow from it’s beginnings as an idea until now as a finished book. It’s a great concept which allows kids of all ages to record their own lake adventures. The artwork is inviting while the basic story line and end page activities should keep children’s imagination fired up.
The only time I feel pulled out of the story is through the abundance of “telling” about the adventure instead of “showing” the reader, but all in all, well worth the read. A great take along for your next summer lake adventure!
