This is a brilliant book designed for kids to teach them and introduce them to dogs. It is fantastic for helping young children learn to read AND learn about dogs at the same time. Each page brings to life a different dog demonstrating how loving, care and funs dogs can be. If you feel like your child should learn a thing or two about dogs, then get them this book. It is a way to engage with your child and teach them about dogs. It even has fun facts about different breeds of dogs at the end. The sentence structure throughout the book is perfect for young people who are learning how to read and write. The color and pictures really bring the dogs to life. The images are dynamic and truly come to life invoking good feelings.
One of the best features of the book is the diverse amount of dogs that are used. It focuses on the activities that a person can do with their dog, the attention required to nurture a dog, and just how dogs can play such an important role in a human’s life. It is clear that much more love and care has been put into this book compared to other children’s books about dogs.
