5-Star Review from Readers’ Favorite
Jessica Quarnstrom has written a charming and fun book with Ava LoRay Wants To Play. Ava is relatable to kids, because they too face messy rooms and as they get older, they would be encouraged to tidy them up after themselves. – Samantha Gregory, Readers’ Favorite

I was able to have the opportunity to read the advanced reader copy of my friend’s book that is coming out in January 2022 and I highly recommend it! Keeping a room clean teaches not just cleanliness but order as well. It also teaches prioritizing. Teaching children to keep their rooms clean can help them succeed in school and learn how to be well organized. If you have little ones, this book is for you!

Ava Loray wants to play is a super cute, fun, entertaining, and educational book for kids! Ava the main character is absolutely adorable. She is spunky and her attitude about cleaning will resonate with readers. The illustrations are bright and fun too! Not only is the story engaging but it has a good moral and lesson for readers. Parent can use it when teaching kids about the importance of cleaning their room. Grab this book for the kiddos in your life! You won’t regret it.

This story helps teach kids to do things the right way, starting with cleaning their room. Love it because our 7 year old can read it on his own!
Love the addition of the checklist at the end of the story. Cannot wait for more Ava LoRay Stories.

I thoroughly enjoyed the illustrations as I watched character, Ava LoRay, exemplify the type of agency and decision-making picture books need to convey for young minds. The author did a wonderful job keeping me engaged on every page. Highly recommended for teaching values and chores.

I absolutely loved this book! It’s the story about Ava who has to clean her messy room before going outside to play. In some very funny scenes, she does everything in her power to speed up the process but to no avail. How will she manage to clean her room in time to play? To my surprise, the author, Jessica Quarnstrom, comes up with a very clever and practical way to teach children not to be overwhelmed by cleaning tasks. I highly recommend this book!!
