Carin Johnivan is the BiblioKid author of INTO THE FAIRY WORLD. Carin was born in the wilderness of Alaska, but lived most of her life in Northern California’s wine country. As a child she was absorbed in the arts, drawing, painting, theater, and writing. Even with dyslexia, she was a constant reader, loving to escape and travel into other worlds, or moved to ponder a new perspective. She has always been fascinated by a writer’s ability to remove a person from their own reality – fashioning or inspiring new imaginings and emotions simply by arranging language into creative word patterns.
Carin was an award winning high school teacher for 30 years, teaching Art, English Literature, Theater, Biology, and Psychology. Now, she plans to write and publish both fiction and non-fiction (if it is focused on mental health or nature), for all grade levels and ages. She still believes words are a form of magic.
