Brooke Van Sickle (Gansemer) is an award-winning author of 3 picture books. Her books have received honors for the Moonbeam Children’s Award, Mom’s Choice, and the Independent Press Award for distinguished favorite preschool picture book. She’s also an active member of SCBWI and a member of publisher organizations such as IBPA, MiPA, & IPG.
When not writing her own books, Brooke teaches other aspiring writers how to write and publish kids’ books at journeytokidlit.com. She also holds a B.S. degree in fashion design and enjoys spending time with her three leading men: Mitch, Quill, and Brandon, their golden retriever.
